Somatic movement is a gentle, science-informed approach that invites you to rediscover your body from the inside out allowing you to feel, sense, and move with greater ease, comfort, and freedom. At its heart is the recognition that your nervous system holds patterns of tension and habitual movement that can limit mobility, create pain, and cloud your awareness. Through conscious, volitional movement and sensory-guided exploration, somatics helps you reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence, dissolving old patterns and opening pathways for easeful motion and embodied presence.

Is a neuromuscular intelligence training designed to rewire the brain-body communication loop so muscles can release chronic tension to find their natural resting tonus, improve coordination, and move with agency rather than unhealthy habit. Rather than forcing change from the outside in, Hanna Somatics works from the inside out: teaching your nervous system to sense what’s forgotten and to reclaim control of movement and comfort. A key part of this is overcoming sensory-motor amnesia which is the learned, unconscious holding patterns that make muscles stay tight long after an injury or stress has passed.

In your sessions, whether hands-on on the table, in person, or guided virtually you’ll experience a supportive, gentle process that blends mindful somatic movement and sensory awareness to reduce pain, increase mobility, and bring a deeper sense of embodiment and wellbeing.
